We buy part of our data from list vendors, but the data we get from third-party providers tends to be very raw and dated. As the targeting and segmentation requirements of our clients increase, we run our own in-house research team to grow and improve our data repository. The bulk of our prospect data comes from our own data collection activities. We verify each record in our database on a regular basis. We make at least 2 million phone calls and send out 6 million emails. We take each of these conversations as opportunities to re-verify and re-profile the information we have. We give data quality a very high priority that many of these same list vendors turn to us for database maintenance.
